Basic rules of business etiquette and social skills that would help in the business world. Handshaking, one important gesture that has been used to greet others. Always avoid sandwiching the other persons hand, it is considered rude and that you are trying to overpower them. And remember to smile and hold eye contact. It always proper to introduce yourself after a handshake. This is important it helps remember people’s names. And use proper titles. And lastly, apologies is a great act of politeness. Admitting mistakes and errors can prove your professionalism and a good attitude. According to the article this are all basic rules that you should follow to show good business etiquette.
This article will help me by introducing what is good business etiquette, rules of business etiquette and how show professionalism by showing good business etiquette.

Rudeness at work has rise. Stress and overworked have resulted in catcalls, raging email, talking behind someone’s back and gossip in the workplace. This inset good for the employees and neither on the company. According to the article employees and managers that are rude can cost a company millions of dollars a year. Budget cuts, management changes,7 and other factor increase hostility in the workplace. And sometimes rudeness can turn into abuse. As mentioned in the article when a bump between two people can turn into punches. According to the article some of the most common types of rude behavior in the workplace include disrupting meetings, ignoring people, insulting, giving dirty looks, etc. Bad managers also can affect their departments with bad attitudes. As said before overworked and stress are the leading cause to bd behavior and rudeness in the workplace. But employers can help to ensure a safe workplace environment.
This article will help me by showing what’s not considered business etiquette, And what rudeness in a work environment can look like and what are the causes of these rude behaviors.

Increases the chances to succeed in managing relationships and increase things like profit and productivity. Examples of business etiquette are proper business dining, interactions, communications, networking, etc. according to the article an estimated of 12% have the proper business etiquette skills than a 40% mid management level. And 43% responded that they believed business etiquette skills have gotten worse over the last decade.
This will help me by learning to understand skills that are useful for students to know to be professional and to strengthen business etiquette around the world.

Business etiquette includes things like manners, how people interact, how people are dress, and rules that are needed to follow in a professional environment. Manners are especially important in a professional environment, but they have change over time. Also, appearance has changed. According to the article people today do not have the manners that seniors now used to and still have. Behaviors like being disrespectful and dishonest have many negative impacts in the workplace including employees and organizational outcomes. Professional Image is important key for achieving many things. Actions also affect the professional image of everyone. Business etiquette is also especially important it can change hiring, opportunities, and interactions in the workforce. All these things like manners and etiquette contribute to the success of a good working environment. Having these things in mind can help professional advancement.

Etiquette is significant in the business world. A survey was made to evaluate feelings in regards of business etiquette skills in the business world. An equivalent of surveys was mailed to business professionals in the are of marketing. The survey shows that in fact business etiquette it is important and many ways. According to the article things like writing a letter and talking on the phone. Call for proper business etiquette skills. Many of the participants were asked if business etiquette skills have gotten better or worse? Many of them agreed that they have gotten worse over the past 10 years. Factors of poor business etiquette are according to the article childish tactics, not addressing people correctly, not listening to questions, dressing inappropriately, etc.
This would help me by gathering opinions if business etiquette has change and how has business etiquette changed over the years.
